This year, the Tulipán Foundation celebrates an extraordinary milestone: five years of nurturing, sharing, and celebrating Hungarian cultural heritage in New York City and beyond. Over the past half-decade, we’ve supported talented artists in the U.S. and Hungary, hosted immersive cultural events around the globe, and built a vibrant community that brings Hungarian traditions to life.
These numbers reflect the heart of our work. Every grant awarded, every event hosted, every artist supported tells a story of Hungarian culture being carried forward for generations.

These numbers tell a powerful story and lay the foundation for our next chapter. In early 2027, Tulipán will open the doors of its new home for Hungarian culture in New York City at 1065 Madison Avenue. Whether you are familiar with Hungarian culture or discovering it for the first time, you will be able to step inside and feel welcomed.
Each space will bring people together: to share culinary experiences where beloved Hungarian classics are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens; to participate in public programs, events, and creative exchange; and to gather in our studio space with visiting artists and artisans.
As we reflect on these five remarkable years, we are energized by what’s possible. With your continued support, the next five years promise to be even more impactful. We invite you to take part in supporting this exciting new chapter by helping us fund the vital programming that will fill our new home with creativity and connection. If you have enjoyed our events or are inspired by our mission, please consider a tax-deductible donation to help us continue this work.
Thank you for being part of our story. Here’s to the next chapter.
